Combi package

This combination package includes VLOCLEAR and VLOSEPT, designed to support cleaning and hygiene maintenance in washwater systems used in film processing applications.

Packing-volumes VLOCLEAR:
VLOSEPT:
2 x 5-liter container
1x 1-liter bottle
Description

Microorganism growth, such as algae and bio-slime, can occur in washwater systems used in photographic film processing. Washwater environments may provide favorable conditions over time, which can contribute to contamination and increased maintenance requirements.

To support consistent film quality, developing machines should be maintained in clean operating condition. Without proper washwater treatment, additional cleaning and downtime may be required, resulting in higher maintenance effort and reduced process continuity.

VLOSEPT is designed to support the cleaning and disinfection of washwater tanks and key system components, including tubes, pumps, filters, and transport rollers.

To help limit the re-growth of microorganisms after cleaning, VLOCLEAR can be dosed regularly into the washwater circuit. When applied according to the instructions for use, VLOCLEAR supports more stable washwater conditions and helps reduce the need for frequent manual cleaning.

Regular dosing using the VLOCLEAR dispenser enables controlled application and supports reliable operation of the rinsing water circuit over time.

Directions

It is recommended to disinfect the washwater reservoir with VLOSEPT before starting treatment with VLOCLEAR, as existing bio-slime residues may otherwise loosen and contribute to contamination within the film processing system.

Over time, some level of microorganism buildup may reoccur. For this reason, periodic cleaning of the rinse water tank is advised. As a general guideline, the system should be cleaned with VLOSEPT after two 5-liter containers of VLOCLEAR have been used, or whenever a new chemical package is opened.

Cleaning procedure with VLOSEPT

Fill the rinse water section, preferably with warm water, and add 1 litre of VLOSEPT (one bottle).

Allow the solution to circulate through the water circuit for approximately 30 to 60 minutes to support the removal of deposits from pumps, hoses, rollers, and other components.

After the cleaning procedure:

  • Drain the solution according to local regulations
  • Rinse the entire water circuit thoroughly with fresh water
  • Refill the system with clean water before resuming operation

Automatic dosing with the dispenser

The dispenser is designed to dose VLOCLEAR automatically into the washwater circuit. For further information, please refer to the product documentation of the VLOCLEAR Dispenser or COMPACT Dispenser.
