VLOSEPT
VLOSEPT is designed to support the disinfection of washwater tanks and transport rollers in film processing equipment used within the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) sector.
| Packing-volumes | 4 plastic bottles of 1 liter per box |
Washwater tanks and transport rollers in photo and film processors may become contaminated with microorganisms over time. This can contribute to film contamination, unpleasant odors, and reduced system hygiene. In addition, bio-slime formation and acidic by-products from microbial activity may affect equipment performance and increase the risk of corrosion.
VLOSEPT is designed to support the cleaning and disinfection of washwater tanks and transport rollers. To help limit the re-growth of microorganisms after cleaning, it is recommended to dose VLOCLEAR regularly into the washwater circuit according to the instructions for use.
- During the cleaning process, films or photographic material cannot be processed.
- Add one bottle of VLOSEPT to the processor washwater tank while the transport rollers remain inside the tank. One bottle is sufficient for a tank volume of approximately 50 liters. If the washwater tank volume is larger, the dosage should be increased proportionally.
- Circulate the solution using the processor’s circulation pump for at least one hour. Depending on the level of contamination, the circulation time may be extended. Extended circulation does not affect the processor.
- If filters are installed, it is recommended to remove them before cleaning and replace them with new filters afterwards.
- If a WATER-OPTIMIZER is connected and included in the treatment, the columns should be removed prior to cleaning.
- After cleaning the washwater tank and transport rollers, the cleaning solution can be drained. When used in the recommended dilution, VLOSEPT is biodegradable.
- Rinse the washwater tank and transport rollers thoroughly with fresh water before putting the processor back into operation.
- Concentrated VLOSEPT contains potassium hydroxide. Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes, as it may cause severe irritation or burns.
- In case of skin or eye contact, rinse immediately and thoroughly with plenty of water. Seek medical advice promptly if symptoms persist.
- Wear suitable protective gloves and eye or face protection during handling. Contaminated clothing should be removed immediately.
